Farmer Emmet's
Mock Sous Vide Pot Roast
Want the ultimate set-it-and-forget-it recipes? Ask a busy farmer how to incorporate slow food into your fast-paced day!
Crock pots make cooking a roast super simple, but in the summer they can add too much heat to your home!
On top of that, crock pots cook at too high a temperature to get the best results from your Eden Pure Grass-Fed Beef Roast. If your crock pot has a "warm" setting, you can enjoy an incredibly tender and savory roast while keeping your home cool by following Farmer Emmet's Mock Sous Vide Pot Roast.

Don't let the 24 hour cook time alarm you. Prep time is just a few minutes. It's a great recipe when you know you have a busy day ahead. Just toss everything in the crock pot before bed and tomorrow's dinner is all but done!
The evening before you want to serve Eden Pure Beef Roast for dinner,
place your thawed roast in the crock pot with:
2 onions, roughly chopped
1 head of garlic, peeled and divided (or 6 - 10 cloves of garlic)
5 carrots cut into 1 inch chunks (optional)
5 stalks of celery cut into 1 inch chunks (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cover meat with water. Put the lid in place and turn crock pot to "HIGH". When the liquid begins to simmer, turn the setting to "WARM". Leave the roast on "WARM" for 24 hours.
